Summary: Douglas joined Skuld in 1997 as Managing Director of Skuld, Stockholm. In 1999, he was named EVP Marketing/Underwriting & Risk Management, and in 2000 became President & CEO of Skuld. He has a Master of Law degree, and has also served with Atlantica and Skandia.

Ståle joined Skuld in 2002 as Business Controller. He was named Risk Manager in 2006 and promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2008. In late 2011 he was named Senior Executive Vice President, Group Chief Financial Officer (Deputy to CEO). Ståle has an MSc in Business and Officer’s training school. He also served with Accenture and as an Officer in the King’s Guard.

Trude joined Skuld as SVP Human Resources in 2008 and was promoted to EVP Human Resources in 2010. In 2011 she became EVP Group Communication & Organisation. Trude has a degree in teaching and a Master of Management degree. She previously worked with Wilh. Wilhelmsen as General Manager of the WW Academy. She has also served with Simonsen Føyen, Elkem and AGA.

Claes joined Skuld in 2007 as EVP Business Development. He has a Masters License from the Nautical College, Gothenburg and an Exec. MBA and various law Degrees from University of Gothenburg. Claes served with The Swedish Club (27 years) and is a Visiting Professor at World Maritime University, Malmø.

Simon was appointed Executive Vice President, Group Business Development in 2011.  He joined the insurance market in 1984, underwriting marine reinsurance for Cigna Re and, in 1990, joined Willis as Marine Reinsurance Broker. At Willis he was responsible for new business development andmarketing of Willis’ services, with emphasis on the Nordic region and London.

Lars joined Skuld in 1996 as Claims Executive. After six month in Hong Kong in 1998/99, he was named Senior Vice President and Head of Syndicate in 2000. In December 2011 he accepted the position as Executive Vice President / Director P&I Operations. He is a Lawyer from University of Copenhagen and has a Master of Law (LLM) from University of London as well as a degree in Maritime Law from University of Oslo. Lars also served with Norwegian Maritime Directorate GIEK.

Stefan was appointed SVP Head of UK Operations in November 2011 after being Deputy Head of London operations since January 2011. He's been responsible for heading up the London office and developing Skuld’s future Lloyd’s Managing Agency. Stefan joined Skuld in 2008 and he holds a Master of Maritime Law and has a background as Naval officer.

Stine joined Skuld in 2009 as Management Assistant. Stine has a four-year Bachelor’s degree in International Marketing and experience as Executive Assistant from McKinsey & Company. Before joining Skuld, she spent two years working in California and Toronto, including a periode with Aker Metals, a division of Aker Solutions Canada Inc.
