Web alert: Piracy update

Members are informed that the third edition of the Best Management Practices (BMP) to deter piracy off the coast of Somalia and Arabian sea has been released.

The BMP can also be found in the Piracy Section on this website. In addition you can find other recent developments, including a warning for vessels with weapons on board using South African ports and a report on a recent court case on whether a vessel detained by pirates remains onhire.
