Skuld 1897 is a Marine and Energy syndicate at Lloyd's. By combining Skuld's philosophy of reputation, financial standing and service standards with the strength of the Lloyd's platform we offer "The best of both worlds".

Skuld 1897 also underwrites property insurance via its Special Purpose Syndicate (SPS) 6126. The SPS focus is on Direct & Facultative, Binders and Treaty business worldwide.

Skuld 1897 is managed by Asta Managing Agency Limited on a turnkey basis. Skuld is a shareholder in Asta Managing Agency Limited. The Syndicate has a global reach and applies the same service-based approach which has always been the hallmark of Skuld as a provider of P&I.

Skuld is the main capital provider for the Syndicate, with French reinsurer SCOR providing the balance of the capital.

As a Lloyd's syndicate (S&P's "A+ (Strong)" rated), Skuld truly provides its clients with the best of both worlds. You can access the Syndicate via the Boxes 308 and 389 at Lloyd's and at 40 Lime Street, 6th floor or by direct contact to Skuld Services.
