Skuld Yacht Defence cover (also known as Freight, Demurrage & Defence or FD&D) provides the Assured with legal assistance for disputes directly connected with operation of the yacht (non P&I matters) and professional advice on contracts.

For smaller yacht owners, Skuld offers a Yacht Owner’s Liability to Crew P&I cover. This is a crew P&I only cover and is available for yacht owners who place all other third party liabilities with their Hull & Machinery cover. This product is designed for Red Ensign flagged vessels.
