Skuld today announces that Kjell-Åke Augustsson will lead the Skuld Piraeus office to further strengthen Skuld's commitment and service to the Greek market and to work with local brokers to enhance Skuld's extensive relationships among the Greek shipowning community.

Augustsson moves from Skuld's Singapore office, which he has successfully managed since its opening in 2012. Augustsson joined Skuld in September 2012 from the Swedish Club in Hong Kong, where he had been deputy managing director since 2005. He was previously a senior underwriter with Skuld for 10 years until 2000.

A new head in the Singapore office will be announced shortly.

Augustsson replaces Clas Rydén, who after six years with Skuld is leaving to pursue new opportunities.

Ståle Hansen, Skuld President and CEO, said: "With the world's largest shipping market being serviced from our Piraeus office it is essential that we continue to enhance the excellent service being provided by the staff in the office and continue to develop our ambitions for the Greek market. The combination of Kjell-Åke's vast knowledge in marine insurance and his proven track record of superior service levels underline our full commitment to the Greek shipping market.

"I would like to thank Clas for his dedication and valuable contributions to Skuld since 2009 and we wish him all the best for the future."
