Vice Chair of the Board since 2021Martin Larsen has been with A.P. Moller - Maersk since 2003 in various finance positions including Treasurer of the North American activities, Head of Corporate Treasury, CFO in Maersk Supply Service and Head of Group Financial Planning and Analysis. Martin joined A.P. Moller Holding in 2016 as CFO and part of the Executive board. Martin is also a board member in Maersk Tankers, A.P. Moller Capital and Navigare Partners.
He is a Finance professional and has an MSc Economics and Finance from Warwick University and Exec MBA from Columbia University and London Business School.

Terje Hj. Michelsen

Vice Chair of the Board since 2021Terje Hj Michelsen started his career in Star Shipping in 1978 and has held various executive and board positions in Star Shipping, Grieg Star and Grieg Star Group. He retired as Group COO in 2018, after which he held an advisory role in G2 Ocean for some time.
Outside Star and Grieg Star Terje has served on boards related to the ocean industries like Squamish Terminals Ltd, Marintek and SINTEF Ocean. He has been a member of Skuld´s governing bodies since 2010.Terje has a BA in Business Organisation from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh and executive programs at IMD in Lausanne and MAREX with the Norwegian Shipowners Association/Duke University.

Trygve Seglem

Trygve Seglem has been with Knutsen OAS Shipping AS since 1983, and held the position as Project Director until becoming Managing Director since 1988. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from Newcastle University, UK and started his career with 7 years in Statoil and a year as a Marine Engineering/Naval Architecture consultant, before joining Knutsen OAS Shipping AS. He holds multiple board memberships in the Norwegian shipping community. He has been President of The Norwegian Shipowners Association and Vice President of International Chamber of Shipping.

Ann-Marie Åström is the Vice-Chairman at Rederi AB Gotland, and has been a member of their Board since 1991 and is also a member of their Remuneration Committee. She is the Chairman of Gotland Tankers since 2010, member of Ex Com in INTERTANKO and a director of Consilium (a listed company in Sweden). She is also a former employee of Skuld Stockholm. She is a graduate in Law.

Erik Hånell

Erik Hånell is President & CEO in Stena Bulk. With a Bachelor of Nautical Science and a master degree from Chalmers University of Technology, Hånell started working for Stena Bulk in 1999. He held numerous positions in the company over 13 years including head of Stena Bulk USA and COO of Stena Bulk AB before being appointed to his current position in 2012. Stena Bulk is commercial controlling about 100-120 tankers of primarily Suezmaxes, MR, a Chemical Tanker fleet and 3 LNGC.

Gerard Patronis is the Managing Director of Alcyon Shipping – a company with long tradition and history (circa 1846) specialized in the technical and commercial management of dry-bulk capesize vessels. He actively joined the company in 1996 and has since worked through various internal departments and all aspects of the trade. He holds a BSc in Management Sciences from the London School of Economics (LSE) and an MSc in Maritime Policy and Shipping Management from Cardiff Business School.

Uta Urbaniak-Sage

Uta Urbaniak-Sage joined BW Epic Kosan (formerly Epic Gas) in 2007 as Managing Director of the Singapore operation and became group CFO in 2012 where she has been closely involved in numerous debt/equity raising and M&A transactions.
Before joining BW Epic Kosan, Uta worked for HSH Nordbank in Hamburg and Hong Kong in various management positions in the bank's shipping division. -
Eivind Eidesvik

Mr. Eidesvik is educated as a Ship Master. He has sailed on offshore, fishing and reefer vessels before continuing his career ashore within shipping. He is currently the Group CEO of Caiano AS, Managing Director of Green Shipping (Green Reefers Group), Chairman of Wilson ASA and Chairman of Euro Terminal AS.
Mr. Eidesvik is a Norwegian citizen with residence in Haugesund, Norway. -
Mark Jansen

Mark Jansen is a Master Mariner with four decades of experience in international shipping, spanning both sea-going and shore-based roles. He started his career as an apprentice with Dammers & van der Heide in 1986 and progressed through the ranks to Captain. Following the company’s integration into Seatrade, he moved ashore in 2000, initially working in Crewing, QMS and the Technical Department before becoming Director of Operations.
He subsequently moved into broader operational and management responsibilities, including Sale & Purchase activities, claims prevention and newbuilding projects, before being appointed Managing Director of Seatrade Groningen in 2007. Mark has also been involved in Skuld’s governing bodies for several years, including serving on the Nomination Committee.
Alongside his Master Mariner qualification from the Nautical Academy of Amsterdam, Mark has completed various management and leadership programmes throughout his career.

Byoungil Kang

Kang started his career as a Navigation Officer on board Mercy Ships and STX Pan Ocean before continuing his career ashore in shipping, insurance, and maritime law. He has been with Grieg Star Shipping/G2 Ocean since 2006 and is currently Insurance, Legal and Claims Director.
Kang has a Bachelor of Laws from Korea Maritime University and an LL.M. in Maritime Law from the University of Oslo, as well as an executive programme at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), focusing on innovation, strategic transformation and leadership.

Corinne Vintner

Corinne Vintner has been with Brittany Ferries since 1987. She served as Head of Legal and Insurance from 2000 to 2009 and has been Director of the Legal and Insurance Department since 2009. Since 2016, she has been a member of the Executive Board, with responsibility for the Group's support functions, including Legal, Insurance, Human Resources, and Affiliates. She is currently a shareholder of the company.
Corinne Vintner has her law degree in Private law from Faculty of Law, University in Rennes, France.

Zachary W. Simon is Assistant Vice President, Claims, Lawyer and joined Skuld in 2018.
He assists shipowners and charterers with disputes in both wet and dry bulk trades.
He holds an American Juris Doctor and a Master of Laws in Maritime Law, and is admitted to practice law in New York.

Zoe Benfold

Zoe joined Skuld in 2013 and is Vice President, Head of Claims and Contracts, Skuld Energy.
Prior to joining Skuld, she qualified as an English lawyer at an international law firm in London, where she gained extensive experience in contentious shipping and energy matters.
During her time at Skuld, Zoe has played a key role in the development of the Claims and Contracts function and has been closely involved in supporting members and clients across a wide range of contractual and claims-related issues.
