The International Tanker Owners Pollution Federation (ITOPF) has completed a series of seven films covering different aspects of the response to marine oil spills:
- Introduction to oil spills
- Aerial surveillance
- At sea response
- Shoreline clean-up
- Waste management
- Environmental impacts
- Oil spill compensation
The films are each about 20 minutes in duration and are of very high quality both in terms of production and content.
They can be viewed online on the ITOPF website, by downloading the ITOPF App or by purchasing the DVD.
Subtitles are available in five languages.
ITOPF is a not-for-profit organisation with unique technical expertise based upon responding to more than 700 incidents of oil or chemical spills worldwide over a period of more than 45 years.
All members of the Association are also ITOPF members (tankers) or associate members (non-tankers).
