Skuld announces changes in the Piraeus office

Press release

Published: 24 October 2025

Skuld announces today that Charlotte Valentin has been appointed interim head of office in Skuld Piraeus. Owing to health reasons, Leandros Kotsakis will be away from the office for a considerable period of time, which, if extended past 1 March 2026, will see Valentin take on the responsibilities of Kotsakis and oversee the office's daily operations until further notice.

Valentin is the head of claims and FDD in Piraeus and is part of the leadership team. She has been with Skuld since 1999, working at the New York and Piraeus offices, and has held leadership roles for several years.

She will work closely with Kjell-Åke Augustsson, who will, as previously announced, retire as of 28 February 2026. To ensure alignment in the underwriting activities, Valentin is supported by Thea Thorstensen, senior vice president of business development, who will manage Skuld's underwriting in the Greek market after Augustsson’s retirement.
